Bringing Others Along For The Ride

Ruchira Shah | Thursday 21st May 2009
ecoI had a distinct advantage when I became an eco-nut. I lived alone. And I still live alone. Which means that if I want to buy recycled toilet paper, or eco dishwashing soap that may or may not really work, or anything else, I don't have to make sure it's okay with anyone else.

But for those of you who do have significant others/children/roommates/etc who you have to generally get along with, what do you do? If your sig o hates recycled toilet paper, do you try and convince them? How do you tell your roommate that you want to have a bunch of worms around to compost your trash?

How, in short, do you navigate living green amongst your co-habitants?
