Is it over yet?

It seems a positive progression to the situation on most of our minds, that of the economy. But if the economic and environmental crises are linked in many fundamental ways, as we have argued on this site and which figures like Nicholas Sternendorse, this seems like a rather disastrous change in dialogue.
Heck no the climate crisis is not over yet! And when will it be over? Well, lets just say that when it is over you won't be happy at all.
If the urgency of action on climate change is going to ride the wave of the global economic crisis, as might be a very good idea, we should all be weary of short-term thinking and calls to put the worst behind us as quickly as possible. Because if we do that, we'll most likely push the real change necessary to fully confront these challenges into background.
After asking "how bad is it?" I suggest we ask "how in the world can we really fix it?"
