SC Johnson's core corporate values include a long-term commitment to community, which underlines its efforts at philanthropy worldwide.
Each year in Racine, SC Johnson runs a strong fundraising campaign to support United Way. The company matches the donations dollar-for-dollar across the board. The funds specifically support priority programs and key projects in health, education and income generation.
Fisk Johnson, Chairman and CEO of SC Johnson, said: "Providing local leadership and support to communities -- whether in our hometown of Racine or around the globe -- is part of our DNA. Our ongoing partnership with the United Way of Racine has resulted in new initiatives that fill gaps in community programs that ultimately have a positive impact both our community and its families in need."

The company has disbursed grants totaling $1.1 million over the last five years. David Maurer, United Way of Racine County President, says regarding the contributions made by SC Johnson: "Two out of every three families in Racine will benefit from United Way programming during their lifetime - due in large part to the generous funds continuously raised by SC Johnson.
