SC Johnson Offers Free Tour Programs for Family Fun

Social EnterpriseSC Johnson is offering free tour programs this winter for families and individuals at the company's historic campus. Visitors will have an opportunity to experience the masterpieces created by legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The free tours will also provide a chance to experience the newest addition to the campus - The SC Johnson Gallery: At Home with Frank Lloyd Wright.

Visitors can also enjoy a number of unique and informative programs during the tour. The SC Johnson Gallery at present features its inaugural exhibit on Wright's iconic Prairie-Style. The gallery is a part of Fortaleza Hall on the campus, which is also home to the Frank Lloyd Wright Research Library. This library includes a rare collection of more than 800 items that mark Wright's influence in Southeastern Wisconsin. The conclusion of each tour features a stop at a unique gift shop called The Lily Pad, where several exclusive Wright-inspired items and SC Johnson memorabilia is available.

Kelly M. Semrau, Senior Vice President - Global Corporate Affairs, Communication and Sustainability for SC Johnson, said: "Our free tour programs provide visitors with an exciting and educational experience, giving everyone the opportunity to experience Frank Lloyd Wright's renowned masterpieces and to learn about the unique history between the architect and SC Johnson."

SC Johnson is offering three different tour programs, all of which are free of charge. The most in-depth tour is called The Legacies Tour, with duration of 3.5 hours. This tour explores the SC Johnson Administration Building designed by Wright as well as the award-winning Fortaleza Hall. Visitors on this tour can also view two unique films at the Golden Rondelle.

The second tour is called The Landmarks Tour, which includes an exploration of the landmark SC Johnson Administration Building. This building was the very first project that Wright designed for SC Johnson. The building is renowned for its open concept half-acre of workspace, circular "bird cage" elevators and unique dendiriform columns. The third tour, called The Gallery Tour, is a one-hour tour designed for visitors who wish to focus on The Gallery and its debut exhibit.
