Social Media Promotion
Once you've got that bright business idea, found that niche, started that company, social media's powers can be utilized to further promote it. Facebook, Twitter and the like are popular, of course, and many assume that this is the best way to propagate their causes or businesses simply because they seem to be the most popular. This is, of course, because these mega social media sites are quite popular, which is why one user has an account at each site. Yet, the attempt to professionally maintain each of these social media sites with engaging material is exhausting, and often, at least one account fails into disrepair.
Enter Turn Social. Another brilliant business idea, Turn Social was developed from the need arising from the dilemma described above. That is, social media is becoming more and more exclusively the only way to promote, recruit and advertise just about anything and yet, the amount of time a user has to engage with social media is inversely proportional to the amount of mainstream social media sites out there (which seems to exponentially increase daily). Turn Social is a free social media aggregating toolbar that is neighborhood specific. What this means is 1) you don't have to pay for their services. 2) Turn Social's database for its toolbar is a pool of thirteen of the most popular and/or relevant social media sites out there, including the big ones like Facebook, Twitter, Twitter for Small Businesses (yes, it apparently is different enough from regular old plain Twitter) and Youtube. 3) Turn Social uses this social media database to tailor online content to specific locations and neighborhoods, depending on a user's stated preferences.
This greatly helps both businesses and users. Much like StumbleUpon, which learns what sort of interests, hobbies and preferences a user has to present them with custom web content, Turn Social helps the right businesses reach the right people. And, the most important thing is location, location, location. Turn Social takes a user's street address to determine what content is relevant to showcase on that user's social media profile - a Turn Social user does not have to worry about constantly updating each of their with the new content that social media users are expecting daily.
Many apartment complexes, management companies, scrap booking services, even other social media sites are using Turn Social to promote their businesses locally and efficiently. As one of Turn Social's clients reports on their online marketing page, "if you're not visible online, you might as well not exist." That is why social media knowledge and effective usage is so vital. It's also why Turn Social is so innovative. Social media presence is a need all businesses that want to be better should have, since social media is increasingly the backbone of marketing, advertising and even human connection.
