Takeaways from GRI's Conference: Yannick Peterschmitt, SAP
As the second day of the Global Reporting Initiative's 2010 Conference on Sustainability and Transparency ended, several themes have emerged throughout the RAI Elicium. Indeed, there is growing interest in integrating financial and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. The public and private sectors have to work together, as both companies and regulators can help and learn from each other.
Nevertheless, increased reporting needs to done to satisfy various stakeholders, not just reporting for reporting's sake. And the necessary tools must be developed in order for professionals to be able to process the complex quantitative and qualitative data that will fill the pages of these future reports.
GRI wants to hear from you what your takeaways are from the conference. We thank Yannick Peterschmitt, SAP's Director of Solution Management and Sustainability Performance Management in Walldorf, Germany, for sharing his views. Feel free to comment or reply with a video response.
