General Motors was recognized this week as one of the “50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work For” in the annual Latina Style 50 Report, evaluated by Latina Style Magazine.

"Being the best, means attracting the best talent --- GM's focus on building a 'Workplace of Choice' where all members of teamGM are valued is essential as we grow our business. This recognition speaks to GM’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, which involves the ongoing support and encouragement of education, economic empowerment, and business opportunities.

Now in its 15th year, the Latina Style 50 Report has become the most prestigious analysis of corporate America's efforts for promoting diversity and providing career advancement opportunities for Hispanic women. The principal areas of evaluation are: number of Latina executives, educational opportunities, alternative work policies, employee benefits, and companies with a dedicated program to supplier diversity.
