Canary in the Coal Mine
By Joanna Gangi
From the coal mines of Appalachia to the tar sands sites of Alberta, Canada, the fossil fuel industry has left a catastrophic swathe of destruction in its wake. We must work toward a paradigm shift that expands our understanding of humanity while also incorporating an awareness of the earth.
