Campaign: Wish Stories

Courtesy of Make-A-Wish®, wish kid Rachel will welcome 2015 in the most magical way: watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve from the world famous Times Square in New York City.

Fourteen-year-old Rachel loves everything quintessentially New York City: shopping, Broadway shows, and the large-scale holiday celebrations. They are a warm, welcome thought that distracts her from the life-threatening severe gastrointestinal disorder she faces daily. Curious and eager to learn, Rachel has always wanted to be behind-the-scenes of the New Year’s Eve television specials that captivate millions of viewers worldwide.

Rachel’s wish is to visit New York City on New Year’s Eve and watch the ball drop. But she won’t just be in the crowd; she’ll be involved in the production of one of the New Year’s specials that she previously could only watch on TV.

Rachel, her parents and her brothers will ring in the new year from the heart of Times Square where they will be interviewed by Fox News Channel and attend a rooftop celebration with a picturesque view of the ball drop.

Make-A-Wish thanks Fox News Channel for helping to grant Rachel’s wish in the most spectacular way possible. You can see Rachel and her family on the 2014 All-American New Year beginning at 9:00pm ET on New Year’s Eve.
