Republic Services of Contra Costa County Hosts a Reuse Roundup to Benefit Christmas for Everyone

On Saturday, October 24 at Alhambra High School in northern California, Republic Services hosted a Reuse Roundup to benefit Christmas for Everyone. Christmas for Everyone (CFE) is in its 30th year as a non-profit volunteer organization serving people in need during the holiday season and provides a full Christmas Day, so no one spends the holiday alone or in need.

The volunteer employees from Republic Services were able to collect 1,450 lbs. of clothing, housewares - 834 lbs., toys - 233 lbs., shoes and purses – 345 lbs., blankets – 60 lbs., 4 sleeping bags, 3 bikes and costume jewelry to use as gifts.
