Yum! Recognized as one of 2014'S 100 Best Corporate Citizens

Corporate Responsibility magazine has named Yum! one of the year’s top public companies for its commitment to corporate social responsibility. Yum! is the only restaurant company on the magazine’s CR 100 list. The Company claimed the 84th spot, rising 13 positions from 2013.

"We are honored to once again be recognized by Corporate Responsibility magazine as one of the year’s top socially responsible companies," said Laurie Schalow, VP of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility for Yum!, "This recognition demonstrates our commitment to being a socially responsible company with a huge heart and is also a testament to the incredible efforts of our employees around the world living this mission."

In making the rankings determination, Corporate Responsibility magazine considered 298 data elements across seven categories including:

  • Employee relations
  • Environmental
  • Financial
  • Governance
  • Human rights
  • Philanthropy
