The CSR milestones cover broad developments in categories such as the environment, human rights, socially responsible investing, and sustainability reporting as well as GE-specific events. For example, the timeline starts with the 1999 launch of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and ends in 2011 with GE Developing Health program reaching 53 health centers in 14 cities.
