Alliance Data Recognizes National Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week

Alliance Data recognizes National Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week every year as a way to reaffirm the Company’s commitment to prioritizing ethical practices in its everyday operations. In a world of competing demands and rising expectations, having a strong ethical culture is essential for protecting our reputation and preparing for any challenges that may come our way.

The Code of Ethics serves as the company’s foundation for the expectations we have of our associates to operate responsibly and with integrity. Every year, associates certify that they have read and agree to adhere to the Code, and leadership members undergo additional training that covers anti-harassment and non-retaliation, along with anti-trust, global anti-corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest and other topics.

Ethics at Alliance Data goes beyond the enforced Code of Ethics policy. It is engrained in the culture of the business and its associates. As part of our annual associate engagement survey, we poll our associates on how they feel we’re doing from an ethics perspective. In 2019, 75 percent of associates said, “my company operates in the best interest of all its different stakeholders,” and 82 percent said, “I can report unethical behavior or practices without fear of retaliation.” Both of these measures are important indicators of engagement and policy adherence, further demonstrating that Alliance Data fosters an environment of integrity and accountability.
