In recognition of Women’s History Month, Booz Allen Hamilton is turning the spotlight on some of its most influential women leaders. Meet Patricia Goforth, who leads the firm’s engineering and science business for defense and intelligence clients. Patricia and her team focus on design, development and deployment of engineering, science and C4ISR solutions to meet clients’ mission critical goals.

On Federal News Radio’s Women of Washington podcast, Patricia discusses the need to balance the discipline of engineering processes with the rapidly evolving cyber threat environment. She said, “For large, complex systems you go through a very complicated process when making design decisions, and you try to take into account what the expected cyber threat might be and potential cyber intrusions. But then the unexpected happens, so you have to be agile in your design.”
