Green Revolution Provides Sustainable Solutions For All

Now anyone can save water, become energy efficient, and reduce waste with solutions that pay for themselves. Green Revolution, based in Florida, is helping people across the country to green their homes and their lives.

Going green is good for the planet of course, but it’s also the solution for our economic woes. Green Technology gets people back to work, helps homes to save money, and creates opportunities for innovative products and services that speed the transition toward a greener, cleaner and more sustainable 21st century economy. While some question if we can afford to go green in the aftermath of the Great Recession as we continue to deal with slow growth, high unemployment and the housing crisis, a better question is whether we can afford not to. Going green means wasting fewer resources, and it’s also an important strategy to save money that can be better spent on other things.   In addition, green upgrades for homes are a great investment and raise property values. Recent data from the Pacific Northwest indicates: “…homes certified as eco-friendly sold for 8.5% more per square foot and were on the market 22% less time than other homes.” What’s more, the report finds that “…green homes continued to rise in value, while non-certified ones lost value. Other research indicates this trend is occurring elsewhere, too.” One reason for the increase in value are the lower future energy and water bills, and this is a big part of getting a home certified as green.   The important steps that work best these days are the win-win solutions that help people save money right away, as well as helping the environment. “We choose environmentally friendly products that save energy, water, and waste because they also save money and the goal is to get more people involved in this Green Revolution,” said Jonathan Friedman, CEO of Green Revolution and one of its founders. These cheap and easy efficiency steps are the proverbial “low-hanging fruit”, costing little to implement and providing a fast and significant return on the investment.    Angela Ghitis saw Friedman give a talk in South Florida about the importance of water, and decided to invest in a water saving shower head and soil moisture sensors for her plants. She’s already found that these green products work great. “The main reason I bought them is probably the fact that both save water, so I am able to do my part to help the environment without spending a fortune,” said Ghitis. “I liked the idea that these small products end up making a big impact.”   JD Martin lives in Arizona, so the cost of cooling his home is a big concern for him. “I bought the Cool-N-Save for my AC unit because cooling costs are so high,” said Martin. “I also bought a water bottle with a built in filter and a rechargeable AA battery with a USB port. It's great that with these products, I am able to live the same way I did before, while helping the environment and saving money.” Martin also found that the team delivered on their word, solidly walking the green walk. “They seem like they really believe in what they're doing,” he said.   Having lowered the barrier to entry into making an impact by living sustainably, which usually includes high costs and unfeasible advice, Green Revolution intends to fulfill its slogan of Sustainable Solutions For All. The more that they succeed, the more that we all do.   About Green Revolution Green Revolution provides energy efficiency, water saving, and waste reduction products and advice through its network of certified Green Consultants throughout the United States.
