Looking for a speaker on the topics of CSR, employee giving, or sustainability?

During the holiday giving season, companies are looking for ways to leverage employee giving and their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.  As recent studies* have shown, the majority of large-sized companies choose to implement a CSR plan to “protect the environment” (55%), while the desire to use the platform for “employee well-being” (43%) is also a motivating factor.  Yet, integrating and tracking those citizenship programs is challenging (less than 20% of companies use management tools).

There are a number of Fortune-500 leaders that have recognized the value in empowering employees to drive a large portion of a company’s social responsibility program.  This trend will become more evident in 2011 as investment in employee-driven philanthropy and volunteer programs rises.

Andy Mercy, CEO and founder of AngelPoints – an all-inclusive employee CSR and sustainability platform utilized by companies such as Toyota, Deloitte, General Electric and JetBlue – is at the forefront of this trend.

As you write year-end or trend stories for 2011, Andy is available for interviews to offer his expertise on the growth of employee social responsibility platforms as an asset that increases employee retention, unifies company-wide departments and bureaus, and ultimately is reflected in the bottom line.  Since employee engagement is particularly high during the holiday season, Andy can also speak to corporate giving trends and 2011 CSR program uptake forecasts.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you are interested in setting up an interview or getting a quote from Andy for your upcoming business and CSR stories.  Thank you!

Happy Holidays,
