Over the past few weeks, we’ve been sharing stories of college campuses committing to reduce their carbon emissions through the Chevrolet Campus Clean Energy Efficiency Campaign.

Below is a list of the stories we’ve told to date, with more on the way.

Southern Oregon University – A student from the school was nice enough to talk about some of the energy efficiency gains the campus has made since getting involved in the project, as well as how the students are getting involved.

University of Illinois – Chevrolet is buying and retiring approximately 150,000 metric tons of certified carbon credits from the university. It’s the largest project to-date and first with a Big Ten university.

Grand Valley State University – We caught up with Terry Pahl, a facilities engineer at the school, to talk about how people are working together to uncover the “golden nuggets” of energy efficiency that can save emissions and money on campus.

Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with how schools are tackling climate change and seeing real results.
