Abbott Honored with Two Awards for Workplace Leadership
In recent weeks Abbott was honored as a well-regarded place to work by two leading organizations.
For the third consecutive year, Abbott was honored as one of the Best Multinational Workplaces in Europe by the Great Place to Work Institute Europe. Abbott’s workplace leadership in Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Norway and Portugal was specifically recognized, in addition to its efforts to engage employees through challenging and rewarding opportunities across the company.
Additionally, Abbott was once again named one of the top companies for scientists. The Scientist magazine included Abbott on its "2012 Best Places to Work in Industry" list for the ninth time. This prestigious list is based on a detailed survey taken by scientists at life-science companies and research institutions worldwide.
