Last week at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in New York City, Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers participated in a panel discussion moderated by CNN’s Fareed Zakaria on “Business by Design: Growth and Opportunity.”
An edited portion of the panel will air this Sunday, October 7 on Fareed’s CNN show, Global Public Square, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
Other panelists were Goldman Sachs CEO and Chairman Lloyd Blankfein and Dow Chemical Company President, Chairman, and CEO Andrew Liveris. While a broad range of topics were discussed, all of the speakers agreed that in order to fully utilize our nation’s resources, government and business must partner to help solve the key challenges we face.
Zakaria ended the discussion quoting Chambers: “‘You haven’t seen anything yet’…that’s a good optimistic note to end on.”
