Global Impact Launches New Website

AmeriCares, Save the Children, United Methodist Committee on Relief and Church World Service—these are some of the organizations that will receive funds through the Global Impact Disaster Relief Fund to help victims of the Oklahoma tornado, which rendered five counties in that state Federal disaster areas.

This is the kind of information that Global Impact’s new website, Charity. Org, makes available to the public in a clean, streamlined website format. Global Impact raises funds for critical humanitarian needs across the globe, and the new website was designed to reflect more accurately the objectives of the organization.

“We offer philanthropic solutions to both corporations and charities, all in an effort to secure funds to help the world’s most vulnerable people. This new site helps us tell their story,” said its marketing and communications director Joseph Mettimano.

Visitors to the website can learn about the world’s most vulnerable people and find out about the corporations and charities that are helping them. Organizations can also find out more how they can tap into Global Impact's expertise to achieve their socially responsible goals. It features videos, photos, news and commentary on the work done by Global Impact’s partner charities in the developing world.

“We want this site to work not only as our organization’s website, but also to serve as a source of information on global philanthropy and corporate social responsibility,” added Mettimano.
