Standard Power of America has achieved 100 percent green power by way of purchasing renewable energy credits (RECs) to offset the total electricity it sold to its customers. The company purchased the RECs from Renewable Choice Energy, a Colorado-based provider of sustainable products and services. About one in five EPA Green Power Partner enrollments in 2013 till date are customers of Standard Power of America.
