Columbia Business School’s Social Enterprise and International Development Clubs will host the 7th Annual Social Enterprise Conference. This year’s Conference, “The Moment of NOW: Market Innovations in Social Enterprise,” will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at The Riverside Church, steps away from Columbia University’s Morningside Campus in New York City. The Conference coincides with the annual Botwinick Award, a distinction that is bestowed upon an outstanding leader, individual or representative of a business organization, exemplifying the highest standard of professional or ethical conduct. The recipient and keynote speaker this year is Jeff Immelt, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric Corporation.
