Action Alliance for Children works to inform, educate, connect, and inspire people who work with and on behalf of children throughout California. We provide useful, reader-friendly information on current issues, trends, and public policies that affect children and families, for families, early care and education staff, people who work with them, and advocates.

We are a nonprofit media organization providing information and ideas to parents, child care providers, and others involved with the lives of young children in California. We publish the bilingual Children's Advocate/Defensor de los Niños newsmagazine and the trilingual (including Chinese) offering accessible, engaging articles and resources on a wide range of children's issues including child care, health, poverty, family support, education, community building, environmental justice, and more. Our materials help readers create change-in their direct work with children and families, in their communities, and in promoting public policies that prioritize the healthy development of every child.
