About Us
Catalog Choice is a free service that allows you to decide what gets in your mailbox. Use it to reduce your mailbox clutter, while helping save natural resources. The organizations and servicesCatalog Choice is a non-profit corporation based in Berkeley, California. We have worked in collaboration with The Ecology Center, National Wildlife Federation and the Natural Resources Defense Council. We are funded through tax-deductible donations, grants from the Overbrook Foundation, the Merck Family Fund, Kendeda Fund, Weeden Foundation, Mead Foundation, Goldman Fund, and Johnson Family Foundation. We supplement our tax deductible funding with services to companies that promote paperless communication and marketing programs. Our mission The mission of Catalog Choice is to reduce the number of unwanted mailings, and to promote the adoption of sustainable best practices for companies. We aim to accomplish this by freely providing the Catalog Choice Mail Preference Service to both consumers and businesses. Consumers can indicate their mail preferences, and sign up for Email news, and businesses can receive the lists in a secure manner so that they can efficiently honor the requests. News feed
