The Girl Scouts provide girls with the opportunity to DISCOVER their world, CONNECT with and build an understanding for others and TAKE ACTION to make the world a better place. Girls are guided by committed, caring adults who make learning fun. Girl Scouting helps each girl achieve her personal leadership pathway to the future. The Girl Scouts organization has a rich history and has been the nation's leading expert on girls for nearly 100 years.
In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives -strong values,a social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Contact us for more information on how you can make the difference in a life of a girl.
Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts' membership has grown from 18 members in Savannah, Ga., to 3.7 million members throughout the United States, including U.S. territories, and in more than 90 countries through USA Girl Scouts Overseas.
GSUSA is the world's premiere organization dedicated solely to girls. Our council is a non-profit chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), the largest leadership development organization for girls in the world.
