Advancing the Human Spirit
We have a vision of a community for all people where individuals are valued members of society. They live in homes within the community with their own possessions and personal space. Their inherent human rights to be accepted for their unique gifts are respected, and the community bonds together to support and celebrate each individual. Keystone Human Services is committed to creating an environment of inclusion where all people can grow, make choices and be valued, contributing members of their community. To realize this vision, our family of nonprofit organizations is providing comprehensive community-based services for individuals with disabilities living in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, Russia and Moldova. Over 650 million people worldwide have a disability, but when we commit ourselves to a world of inclusion and celebrate the unique gifts of all people, regardless of “ability,” we move toward an environment where all people participate meaningfully in their community. The world is a safer place when we acknowledge that the welfare of each of us is bound to the welfare of all of us. Click through our profile for news, photos and videos of the ways we are working to advance the human spirit of individuals around the world and how you can join us in our mission.
