Why we exist

We are living in the most challenging, yet also the most promising era of human history. Given trends in climate disruption, overpopulation, habitat loss, and social injustice, our dominant global culture seems very much like the Titanic - a gigantic, human-made enterprise headed for certain disaster unless its course is significantly altered.
