Nokia Siemens Networks provides mobile and fixed network infrastructure, communications and networks service platforms, as well as professional services, to operators and service providers. In September 2009, it acquired Plum Ventures, Inc. In October 2009, Nokia sold its Symbian Professional Services. In December 2009, Giesecke & Devrient acquired Venyon Oy. In April 2010, it acquired Novarra, Inc. and MetaCarta Inc.
