PlaNet Finance Group is an international organization, which aims to alleviate poverty worldwide through the development of the microfinance sector. The whole Group shares the same mission, continuously seeks excellence and puts integrity at the heart of all operations.

PlaNet Finance Group is presently involved in technical assistance, rating (through its independent affiliate Planet Rating), micro-insurance (through its independent affiliate PlaNet Guarantee), provision of direct microfinance in France (through its independent affiliate FinanCit閟), investment advisory (through its unit PIAM soon to be expanded into PlaNIS) and greenfield MFI development (through its independent affiliate MicroCred). The PlaNet Finance Group has over 600 employees (including 185 in PlaNet Finance and more than 400 in the affiliated companies) working in up to 60 countries every year.
