We die hard Mainers (yeah New England!) buy many of your products. In particular, we are (and will be!) always buying diapers. We can't even begin to fathom what legitimate response you could give us for the small packaging. Those of us who are intelligent enough to buy Seventh Generation products, both for the environment and, in this case, for our baby's health, fully understand the cognitive dissonance of your giving us no choice to buy larger packages of diapers, thus, hopefully, saving us money and saving the environment, over the years we would like to be able to buy this product.

We want to commend you for promoting a major initiative toward sustainable palm kernel oil. Chris Miller's blog about unsustainable slash and burn farming methods certainly resonate with me. I grew up in the Philippines where this practice has resulted in more flooding, increased pollution, decreased groundwater levels amongst other negative effects on the immediate environment. Sadly, this immediate negative impact of slash and burn farming on rainforests also cause a harmful ripple effect on our seas. In addition to reducing the oceans' biodiversity, this also translates to decreased seafood bounty which impacts the livelihood of subsistence fishermen. It is a vicious cycle. Thank you for taking the leadership role in stopping and reversing this slash and burn practice and for creating alliances and structures to protect our tropical rainforests.

I really admire the mission of the "Seventh Generation" as it might be addressing the essence of its name. Thanks for following the ABPSD works and hope for continuous link with the "Seventh Generation". Praying for your company's manifestation in reaching out the target individual, groups and communities for its mission. (Dr. Pendatun Pangadil)
