To realize this goal, Solar electricity must become attractive to thousands of customers, not just the dedicated few that have pioneered the technology so far.  Sunlight is by its very nature a highly distributed energy resource, and the more people we can help engage as "sun farmers" the more contribution solar energy can make.  There is more than enough sunlight to fulfill our electricity needs if we get enough people involved.  Why build new power plants when we already have plenty of roof-space soaking up the sun's energy already?
