About Us
Ensuring a sustainable futureThe Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point was founded to create a fresh approach to meet today's environmental and economic challenges. WIST is a multidisciplinary institute powered by the energy and expertise of faculty, staff and students across the UWSP campus. Through its three divisions, WIST offers laboratory services, outreach education, and research to help businesses and organizations accomplish their goals in ways that make more sustainable use of natural resources. Technology and ideas developed by WIST and its partners will spur economic growth in Wisconsin and the region and help preserve and protect a healthy environment for future generations.
