I was at Marks and Spencer yesterday and an older gentleman was extremely angry about having to pay 5 pence for a plastic bag. He even said, "climate change, schlimate change". The person at the til maintained their cool and said, "Sir, its a new policy."



I am as impressed with the way that the training around charging for plastic bags got done by M S as I am about the actually initiative.



Does anyone know of other companies that are trying to influence consumers green behaviour? I think this is the next step in sustainability.
