Carol Nissen is a professional engineer and geologist who specializes in brownfields redevelopment. She joined Tetra Tech in 1997 and applies her years of experience to the environmental management market. Carol first earned a B.S. in Geology from the University of Illinois and then returned to school to earn her M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology after her inspiring first job out of college.

An incurable Francophile, Elizabeth is uncommonly passionate about language learning – especially the ability of languages to connect people. She holds a Diplôme Supérieur for French business and has worked in research for the Chambre de Commerce in Grenoble, France and as Marketing Coordinator for L’Oréal, Paris. In 2007 she earned an MA in 18th c. French Literature from the University of Texas and subsequently served for five years as Professor of French at Texas State University until 2012 when she left to form Freestyle Language Center.

Summer camp has evolved dramatically since America’s first organized camp, the Gunnery Camp, was founded in 1861 in Connecticut to teach boys to hunt, fish and shoot. It set the model for the kind of summers many remember from childhood:  An oasis in the wilderness, slathered in sunscreen and bug spray shooting bows and arrows, braiding friendship bracelets and competing in canoe races. She joined Tetra Tech in 2001 and applies her experience to the environmental management market. Diane earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

This biennial event brings together more than 600 CEOs, board directors, and government officials in support of one shared goal—achieving 50/50 gender parity in the boardroom by 2025.
