Frito-Lay Unveils "Near Net Zero" Manufacturing Facility

Sustainability efforts by PepsiCo include the ‘near net zero’ vision.  Exemplifying this goal is the recent effort by PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division to transform an existing facility to move as far "off the grid" as possible and run primarily on renewable energy sources and recycled water, while producing nearly zero landfill waste.
