A grand opening celebration with Nevada Lt. Governor Brian Krolicki, Harrah’s and Schneider Electric management representatives, and other local dignitaries, is scheduled for Friday afternoon, Aug. 16, at the Harrah’s Reno charging stations beginning at 2 p.m.

South American destination adopts baseline criteria and indicators for sustainable tourism

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 25, 2013 /3BL Media/ - The Chilean destination of Lake Llanquihue, Puerto Varas, and Frutillar has completed the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s (GSTC) Early Adopters pilot program to test its new Criteria and Indicators for Destinations. Chile and Peru are the first South American destinations to participate and complete the GSTC Early Adopters program.
WHAT: Pacific Gas and Electric Company will be displaying a range of its “Green Fleet” vehicles on Justin Herman Plaza as part of the Plug-In Electric Vehicle Collaborative Conference.
PG&E operates one of the largest green fleets in the country, with over 3,400 electric or alternative fuel vehicles. Vehicles on display will include the following:
