LAS VEGAS, March 20, 2018 /3BL Media/ - The non-profit MGM Resorts Foundation is gearing up for the 12th annual Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) on August 27 and 28 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
The mission of the two-day event is to provide women, and men who attend, the developmental tools they need to continuously advance their lives and careers.
As I prepared to participate in Accenture’s International Women’s Day in a session titled, “The Equality Advantage,” I reflected on the events in my life and career that led me to this point.
Sarah “Bogi” Latiener is the founder and owner of 180 Automotive in Phoenix, AZ. As a woman in a male dominated industry, she’s used her skill and expertise to educate more women about car maintenance and entice others like her to embrace their passion for cars.
“Tying into our mission of inspiring humanity, we have a responsibility to help educate young girls about the wonders of aviation and what we do. It was really fun seeing the girls’ eyes light up and for them to see the possibilities that they can make this their career as well,” shared Rachel McCarthy, SVP Talent & Learning, JetBlue.
