The 2008 Annual Social Enterprise Conference will bring industry leaders, students, academics and practitioners together to refine the role of social enterprise in an ever-changing, global market. Diverse panel discussions will examine the ways in which for profits and nonprofits have engaged in crossing traditional barriers to enable the proliferation of market innovations in social enterprise - how social enterprise principals and practices are being put into action NOW.
Joining keynote speaker Jeff Immelt, CEO of General Electric, are speakers from: McKinsey & Company, National Resource Defense Council, Patagonia, PepsiCo, SkyFuel, Inc., Uncommon Schools & Zephyr Capital.

Edward Rogoff 18 October 2008 I am the Chair of the Management Department at Baruch College, CUNY and a professor of Entrepreneurship. We have a large Social Entrepreneurship component to our program including courses and a business plan competition that includes a social venture track.
