Description:
Learning to Lead Adaptively is an intensive two-day workshop for executives and managers seeking to build their own and their organization's leadership capacity. Participants learn how to apply the strategies and skills of Adaptive LeadershipTM through a combination of case studies, discussions, small group work and guided reflection.
CLA is committed to making the framework and skills of Adaptive Leadership available to anyone advocating for or leading change during these challenging times.
Participants learn how to:
- "Get on the balcony," orchestrate conflict, think politically, give the work back, and other Adaptive LeadershipTM behaviors;
- Develop capacity to face uncertainty about personal approaches and styles;
- Effectively manage deep value conflicts within the organization and its people;
- Strengthen their ability to face internal resistance while implementing major changes; and
- Manage their personal vulnerabilities, care for themselves, and sustain their spirit.
Whether you tend to play it safe or are an inveterate risk taker, Learning to Lead Adaptively will give you the useful insights and practical behaviors you need to help you lead change more quickly and more successfully, and to help you keep your own head above the often turbulent waters of exercising leadership.
Who is Learning to Lead Adaptively for? Learning to Lead Adaptively participants represent a wide variety of organizations, functional areas and leadership experiences. They include: The program is held in major cities at different times during the year and enrollment is limited. Participants come individually and in teams from corporate, non-profit, and public sectors and from many countries in addition to the US.
