The GLOBE Series, launched in 1990, has grown to become North America's largest even on the business of the environment, bringing together thousands of senior-level decision makers from around the world to discuss the issues at the core of sustainable development and to access the significant number of business opportunities inherent in solving enviornmental problems. GLOBE draws top-tier leadership: in 2008 alone, 735 Presidents and/or CEOs, 318 Vice Presidents and 114 Chairpersons attended. It is a truly international event with over 70 countries represented. GLOBE 2008 topics included: corporate responsibility, climate change and energy, finance and sustainabiltiy, building better cities, and the future of the automotive industry.
