Today, we bring together 21 mining and metals companies as well as 32 national and regional mining associations and global commodity associations to address the core sustainable development challenges faced by the industry.

Description:

The Global Compact Leaders Summit will bring together leaders from all sectors to elevate the role of responsible business and investment in sustainable development. ICMM’s Kathryn McPhail will speak at a panel session on "Enhancing Investor-Company Engagement”.

The event is expected to gather 1,500 leaders from business, civil society, labour, the investment community and academia, as well as Government and the United Nations.

Kathryn McPhail will present at a breakfast seminar focusing on examples of successful investor-company engagement and on how this dialogue can be improved.

She will talk about ICMM’s work on transparency, socio-economic development and conflict prevention.
