Description:

ICMM’s Ben Peachey is taking part in a panel discussion on Corporate Social Responsibility at the 10^th annual China Mining Congress and Expo 2009.

The event is hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Land & Resources and constitutes one of the world largest mineral exploration and mining trading platforms. It is expected to create more communication and cooperation opportunities for domestic and international mining corporations and their relevant stakeholders.

Over 3,500 delegates from over 50 countries are expected to attend and some 400 booths will be set up.

The “Greater Sustainability in Mining - Corporate Social Responsibility” session takes place on 21 October, 11 am - 12:30 pm, at Tianjin Binhai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
