Mining People and the Environment

 

ICMM is partnering with Mining Environmental Management and PDAC to present their first joint conference addressing the challenges facing the mining industry. The programme will address social and environmental imperatives within the mining industry in two half-day sessions.

Topics for discussion will include community engagement, governance and accountability, biodiversity, human rights and climate change.

The conference is being held on 6 March 2010 in conjunction with PDAC's annual convention in Toronto, Canada.
