Chip in for Charity at the PGA TOUR Travelers Championship
The world’s best professional golfers will meet on the green for the 2012 Travelers Championship on June 18-24 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Last year’s Travelers Championship saw Fredrik Jacobson become a first-time PGA TOUR winner with the third best score in tournament history! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to watch this year’s action in person.
Key Human Services is participating in the Travelers Championship Chip in for Charity fundraiser. You can purchase your discount tickets directly from Key. General admission tickets cost $20 and are good for any one day at the Championship. Travelers Championship will donate 50% of Key’s total ticket sales to support Key and the work we do serving individuals with disabilities in Connecticut.
Your ticket will also get you into the PowerStation Events Concert the day you attend. Artists include Javier Colon (June 20) and KC & the Sunshine Band (June 23).
To purchase tickets, contact Greg Damato at 860-409-7350 ext. 127 or gdamato @ keystonehumanservices.org.
Ticket orders are due by June 12.
Birdies for Charity
You also have another opportunity to participate in the Travelers Championship. Birdies for Charity is a fun way to support Key and enjoy the golf tournament.
Similar to a walk-a-thon, you can pledge to donate a certain amount based on the number of birdies made during the Championship. For example, if you pledge to donate 10 cents per birdie, and 1,000 birdies are made, you would donate $100.
To make a pledge or for more information about Birdies for Charity or Chip in for Charity, contact Greg Damato at 860-409-7350 ext. 127 or gdamato @ keystonehumanservices.org.
