that is a good post. One problem I see is that lots of staff that join none profits, and although they do join for the mission, they get a "non" mind set. Back in my nonprofit consulting days, it found it very difficult to implement a mind set of solid financial business development with staff that felt they were exempt (or "non") from having to think that way as if the only thing that was important was the mission as a Stand alone objective.
