Saturday training in the Pune office. Just watched each staff member Stand on stage and sing a song - funny and inspiring.

The power and the limitations of language - both tend to be exaggerated. Useful things, words, as long as we don't take our own conceptions of what they mean too, too seriously. You're right, Sheldon - when my friends (the Children of Trinidadians and Jamaicans) have Children, will I have to call their kids "African-Americans" simply because they were born in in the U.S.? I'm just planning to call them by their names (WHAT? The names their controlling parents gave them? Why not ask them what THEY want to be called?)

Anne, I'm somewhat a proponent of W. Tasch and his effort. I'm all for communities trading and profiting from labors of love. I like my neighbors. Sufficiency in a pinch is for the masses. This is the strongest measure for well established Co's. Color, and flavor have been secondary to nutrition. This is a can worms. I hear and see the term CSR over and over again. Does this not apply to the people that run a large ag company? Do their Children not suffer from the effects that our Children do if the nutrition of the food is not up to par? I'm not one to start a fight being a professional, but as my last statement reflected. I am biased.

I get the desire for more characters, but the Standard was set by twitter. So for seamless integration and adherence to 'norms' of social media, I'd stick to what's already established. On the other hand, what 'need' will 280 solve. Maybe there is an opportunity for Just Means to Stand out by scratching that itch. Then again, maybe it's just that we're all too wordy.
