Join the Accenture Finance & Enterprise Performance team and you will play a central role in developing innovative business solutions that help CFO clients improve operational efficiency and transform their finance function into a world class organization. As a Finance & Enterprise Performance business consultant, you will support clients with capabilities in the areas of Corporate Finance, Finance Operations and Enterprise Performance Management to help them achieve high performance.
Our Finance & Enterprise Performance Trading Operations practice provides a wide range of business consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing services to our energy, utility, products and finance service clients. These clients trade in various global commodities and build, acquire and operate assets. Examples of the types of services that Accenture provides to our clients in this area include:
• Strategic Planning
• Program/Project Management
• Business Process Definition & Optimization
• Talent Management
• Organization Design
• Systems Diagnostics & Implementations
• Enterprise Reporting & Analytics

As a Consultant within our Trading Operations practice, your key responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with business process and system selection assessments
• Creating process and functional designs
• Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
• Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
• Participating in application build, test, and deploy activities
• Planning and executing data conversion activities
• Conducting test planning and execution activities
Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis (typically Monday - Thursday).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Energy or Power TRM (Trading Risk Management) Consulting
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the following areas:
o Measurement, modeling, and reporting of risk
o Systems implementation in the Energy, Power or Utilities industry
o Front, mid, and back office processes
o Credit management
o Physical market scheduling and settlement
o Accounting and controls processes and systems
o Front, mid, and back office system functional design
o Implementation of common energy or power transaction and risk systems
o TRM solution architecture
o Integration with ISOs or RTOs
• Current management consulting experience at a Top Tier Consulting Firm
• Ability to interact effectively with client executives, vendors and third party providers
• Ability to manage personal tasks and workload
Professional Skill Requirements:
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
