Job Description
Position Description: AECOM Environment is seeking a leader for the Chicago Area Office EHS practice who will manage a diverse industrial environmental group and be responsible for business development, mentoring and development of staff and meet department revenue and profit goals. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the EHS business for the Chicago area consisting of:

- Air program consulting and permitting,
- Hazardous waste management,
- Due diligence assessment programs and consulting,
- Industrial EHS Compliance auditing,
- Industrial water and wastewater design and permitting,
- SPCC and SWPP plan development, and
- Implementation of EMIS solutions for clients.
- Manage the business development activities with current key AECOM clients, new clients and new environmental initiatives.
- Develop and mentor various levels of staff.
- Perform senior project manager role for environmental projects.
- Assist in the implementation of EMIS solutions.
- Review or prepare:

- SPCC Plans
- SWPP Plans
- Tier II reports
- Air Permits
- Safety program elements
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum BS in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equal
- 8-12 years experience in performing EHS activities in an industrial facility or for an industrial client.
- Must have excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven client business development skills
- Proven ability to manage staff to exceed goals
- Ability to bring clients to AECOM a plus
