    Ashoka, an international citizen organization pioneering social change that has been featured in US News, Time, Fast Company, and Forbes, is accepting applications for four administrative support positions across several initiatives. Specific roles range from coordinating events for Ashoka Fellows around the world to serving as a communications, business, and operations assistant to the COO.

    We are an organization of entrepreneurs seeking detail-oriented, experienced administrative problem-solvers who understand and believe in Ashoka’s vision. Responsibilities in all positions require administrative leadership, detailed execution, sound judgment, ability to manage priorities and will focus on coordinating team activities and projects to increase organizational efficiency and impact.

    Qualifications:-

    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, mail merging in Word
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm.
    • Knowledge of how to plan and coordinate international and domestic conference calls.
    • Business letter writing and basic report preparation.
    • Analyze problems and develop creative, proactive solutions.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
    • Sound judgment when handling confidential information
    • A deep rooted desire for positive social impact
    • Cultural sensitivity and openness to international organizations and work style.
    • The ability to balance creativity and implementation of critical tasks, and doing so in a start-up, dynamic environment, is crucial.
    • The applicant must be flexible, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and familiar with social entrepreneurship.
