    Position Description

    As a member of the Philanthropy Operations team, the Prospect Information Manager will oversee campaign reporting and prospect relationship management system, facilitating accurate information tracking and reporting. This Prospect Information Manager will focus on segmenting the prospect pool at all levels of cultivation, including direct mail and strategic gifts, and audit the effectiveness of the ongoing efforts to grow the base of donors.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure accurate recording and security of all donor information, maintaining the database with a high level of integrity.
    • Implement prospect assignment and tracking system policies and procedures.
    • Manage data extraction process for list exchanges and rentals.
    • Oversee end-user training and support.
    • Perform regular audits of prospect portfolios, tracking progress in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
    • Develop customized reporting solutions for Philanthropy staff to meet their business objectives.
    • Develop queries and reports for data mining and analysis, identifying areas of opportunity in the prospect pool.
    • Analyze prospect data and develop reports to provide accurate projections of gifts in the pipeline and track fundraising progress.

    Application Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree.
    • Minimum five to seven years experience in a fundraising environment or equivalent experience in the corporate sector.
    • Superior understanding of data integrity, relational database concepts and business processes related to the acquisition and entry of information in a fundraising database.
    • In-depth experience of fundraising principles and practices, with an expertise in prospect management and tracking systems.
    • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and databases; preferred expertise with Excel or MS Access
